Driving Digital Literacy: IIPGH and Telecoms Chamber Unite to Empower Agona West through Coding Caravan

The Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, in partnership with the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH), organized yet another exciting event called the Coding Caravan. The event kicked off on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Agona Swedru.

The Coding Caravan event serves as a significant platform for promoting digital literacy and skills development in basic community schools in Ghana. Participants have the opportunity to enhance their coding abilities, gain knowledge about emerging technologies, and understand the importance of digital skills in today’s rapidly evolving world. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide in the country and equip individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital age.

Dr. Ing. Kenneth Ashigbey, CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, highlighted the incredible opportunities offered by the Coding Caravan event.
